This amazing special occasion racewear hat in hand blocked sinamay straw would be great for a party, theater or wedding - or even an event like Kentucky Derby. The base is blocked in a lovely semi sheer Sinamay straw with holographic threads. It was hand sculpted and sewn to a handmade base that is covered in matching silk. It is trimmed with Hibiscus and orchid flowers created from patterns from real flowers that are hand dyed, sculpted and sewn by hand to the headpiece. The portrait brim is very flattering to most face shapes, gracefully curving up to the side. The brim edge is finished with handsewn silk bias, matching the base that holds it securely to your head. It is fun and dramatic, perfect for an outdoor event and sure to draw attention.

The hat has an elastic to secure it to your head and I can add a comb by request. It will fit most head circumference. If you would like a different size, color, etc. contact me to discuss a custom order. This hat is finished and ready to ship.
